Year End Reflection

In my junior year I think that I've improved on my grades and as a person because over my junior year I did somethings in my junior year that I couldn't have done in my freshman year and in my sophomore year. In my freshman and sophomore year I used to never really complete the work that I would have to do. But in my junior year I believe that I am actually doing better then how I was doing in my other 2 years. Such as completing my assignments, being more active then before and starting to communicate with others more than I normally would. At the end of this year I plan on finishing Mr. Lon's project so that my grades can keep improving.

The most interesting things that I have learned over my junior years is Stoichiometry equations, Algebra 2 matrix equation, and Spanish. In Chemistry the Stoichiometry equations were hard to do, But I ended up figuring out how to do the equations on my own. In Algebra 2 the matrix equations is confusing when you have to repeat rows and columns. Lastly in Spanish class we are learning about vocabulary on sports and how to say them. To me Spanish class is easy because in middle school I used to have a teacher that taught us Spanish words like family, grandma, grandpa, mom and etc. 

My goal for senior year is to do better and try my hardest to do the senior project and finish as early as possible so that I won't have to be worried about it later. I also plan to join build on or something else for my service hours. I plan on taking art and physical ed because I didn't get any sports or art classes. 
      

SAT Essay practice

        People should be judged off of their potential because letters on a piece of paper never can show what someone could really do.  I think that schools or jobs should judge people by their potential. As I observe others it seems as if they can do more then what they normally do show. I believe that experience only shows how you can do something rather then showing what you are really capable of doing. Sometimes it's good to have some experience because without experience or being shown how to do something leaves you at a disadvantage.

If I were to be judge by a teacher and he/she asked me "Are you experienced in anything". That would mean he/she wouldn't know what my full potential is and what I am capable of. Most people would choose the experienced people over the inexperienced because they wouldn't want someone that can't do an easy task. If people were to be chosen by their potentail I  think that there would be more opportunities. If there are more opportunities more people will show them what they are really capable of.

The marking period is closing in and I am trying my best to keep my grades up. My goals is to turn in my work on time and complete. My other goal is to try and complete the junior project for Mr. Lon. My last goal is to try and bring my grade up in Chemistry, Chemistry is hard for me sometimes because I don't get things when I am first taught it. But later on I start to understand it better. 

The way that I plan to accomplish my goals is to work as hard as possible, So that I am prepared for things later on in my school year. Maybe I could also take sometime to stay after school to learn about some of the things that I don't understand. If I can keep my grades up my GPA will go up as well. I think that if I take some challenging class to push myself to a higher level then I will do so. I'm also trying to prepare myself for college because I do plan on going to college sooner or later. 

In summary I plan to do all my work and turn it in on time. Then keep my grades up as high as possible. Next finish my project as fast as possible for Lon so that it will take less things off my shoulders. Lastly try to bring my grade up in chemistry and try to understand what I am being taught. Understanding things from chemistry will be better for me later on in life in case I am doing things for Engineering's or science.

My Perfectly content place is my aunts house because when I go there I feel more relaxed then when I am at home. It's my most relaxed place because when I sit at home I am unproductive then when I am there. On Sundays I usually go jogging with her. Its meaningful because when I was younger I she took care of me when I had to stay there for a few days. Every time I enter her house I remember things from when I was younger like the time when I was crying my eyes out because my mom left me at her house. 
            Sometimes when I am there it feels more peaceful because I can sit somewhere to think about things more clearly. The house is also a spot where we do most of the parties. She would also make a very delicious breakfast.The most exciting part about it is she could bring out the most potential in me.  
 It brings the best out of me because I didn't know I could jog as far as I did until I tried it.
          



 

Behavior Plan

                        If I was the principal of Furness High school. My plan to encourage students to follow the rules is to let them have fun doing the things that they want to do, For example we should let them pick 2 classes of their own choice, So they can have better chances to find out what they would like to do in the future. From a students perspective I believe that the students see class not interesting. So I think that it would be a good opportunity for them to pick the classes that they are interested in.

                     If I was able to pick 7 of my own classes and a lunch I would choose the main subjects like math, reading, social studies, and science. But for the other three classes I think I would pick some of the classes that would teach you about the outside world. Science would be my first period class, social studies second, third reading, and then math. I chose it in that order because if I do the four main subjects I can get more activities later on in the year. But some schools including mines that don't teach other languages such as russian, italian, swedish and many more.

Some of the classes I have now don't teach us about the things that are happening on the outside of school. Trying to get a job with this kind of education will probably not get me far.

           

New Year's Resolution

New Year's Resolution 

My two personal new years resolution is to try and use less curse words when I am at school and at home. I want to do that because I feel as if I curse too often at home and sometimes at school. My second resolution is to try and experience more things in life. I would like to experience new things because it might make things more exciting.My third new years resolution is to try and work harder in school so I can go to a good college.

My three academic resolution is to improve in my science classes, try to do my best in my math classes and try to write more paragraphs for literature. First I believe that I can do well in science but I am not that organized when it comes to keeping worksheets. Second when I am in my class I feel that I can't focus as much because of the atmosphere. Also in math class some of the work that I am being taught I don't understand. Lastly in literature I believe that I can't write or type as much paragraphs as most people would because I can't think of as much things to write about.

The reason why I don't get to experience much things is because I lack the knowledge about certain areas of Philadelphia streets. I might be able to improve that by looking at maps or ask my family about certain areas and how they look like. Also if I was to get this experience I think things would be more exciting then doing nothing. The reason why I said I want to work harder in school to go to a good college is because in order for me to get a well paying job I would have to get some sort of diploma from college or high school. The last reason why I curse so much is because my brother always drives me crazy. 
This years resolution I would like to keep on trying to learn at a faster pace so that I can do my best for anything. I also believe that if I was able to learn at a fast pace I would be able to understand things more quickly. If I understand my math work it will be helpful later on in life, such as cash register or just counting money. In science class I should use an organizer or some index cards. In literature if I could write or type more paragraphs it would help me with lengthy work and other things.
